I think I would have killed that nurse if it would have been me. She had no right to scare you like that. Thank goodness for your wonderful doctor.

I'm normally a huge fan of nurses – adore them for doing a difficult and often thankless job – but I've been around a few who aren't cognizant of the impact of their offhand words on patients. Especially moms-to-be and new moms.

I remember being freaked out by a nurse when I was still PG with Tacy and way overdue, and my doctor left her scheduled patients to come up to L&D and calm me down. Made me love her even more than I already did.

I'm so glad that Alex is fine and that you're doing well.

Take care of yourself… get your rest and enjoy that gorgeous new blessing… I felt my cold heart melt just a tiny bit when I saw his sweetness.
