Looky, looky, I won an award. Becky at Life out of Focus gave it to me yesterday. Isn’t it purty?
I don’t normally do meme’s. Either I’ve done it before, or I say I’ll do it and I forget or something. I just don’t tend to do them. However this one I will do, because I love Becky and we go way back. She’s one of the sweetest people I know, so I’m humoring her. Also, her husbands a cop and you never know when you’ll need one of those around.
There are rules, which I am not going to fully follow. Because I’m me. I don’t like to tag people. It’s just not my thing. If you want to do it though, you can feel free.
Share “10 honest things” about yourself.
Here’s my 10:
1. I can pick up things with my toes. Socks, pens, random scraps of paper. They are long and skinny and flexible. In college I could peel a banana with them, but I doubt I could now. Because nothing else on the rest of me is long, skinny or flexible.
2. I adore apple juice. I could drink it all day. I don’t, but I could. Martinelli’s is my absolute favorite. I also love the Nantucket Nectar’s one.
3. I own Christmas dishes. Seriously I do. I heart them. They kind of look like this. 
Same snowmen as the plates that are standing. But they are different colors.I get shit for it from my family, but it makes Christmas more festive. I adore Christmas.
4. When I clean my bathroom, I tend to just spray crap in the tub/shower and hope it magically cleans. Then I run steaming water for ten minutes and call it good.
5. I adore Top Chef and Chopped, but I fast forward the parts when the contestants argue with the judges. Makes me crazy to watch people argue.
6. The first boy I kissed was named Nathan. I was ten. However my first real boyfriend was Logan.
7. I am not an animal person. The fact that I have a dog is a fluke. But dam it, she’s six and it seems like she might be sticking around. She’s it though. Never again.
8. I have contact dermatitis. Which is lovely term for, Issa gets hives by touching just about everything. I needs a bubble.
9. I think fruity bagels are not real bagels. They are hard muffins. A bagel is only good if you could put lox on it without puking.
10. I despise the smell of syrup. However, I like the taste. I am my own little oxymoron.
And a lovely oxymoron you are! Guess what? I can pick up things with my toes too! They, and my fingers are the only long, skinny and flexible thing on my body. I never tried peeling a banana though. Impressive. I also love your bathroom cleaning method. You? Are awesome. *MWAH*

@PsychMamma, Everybody has to have a party trick. The banana was mine for a long time.
Oh. Em. Gee. When I gag washing breakfast dishes because the smell of syrup overwhelms, Tim rolls his eyes. I’m so glad I found someone that understands this.

@melissa, They make waffles that have the syrup in them. But mostly, mine eat pancakes and waffles with strawberry syrup…because it’s what I buy. At restaurants though…gag.
Ah… Twins. But not on the syrup one.

Heee, I can totally pick things up with my toes too. My husband calls my toe “tingers” because he says they look like fingers on my feet
BTW, I love the Xmas dishes, very festive.

i KNEW we were alike. i LOVE apple juice. i drink it with everything. pizza. steak. ANYTHING. and i pick stuff upwith my toes too! i mean, if i’m holding the baby and don’t wanna bend down, this is the most efficient way of doing things!

@becky, I get made fun of for ordering apple juice all the time. But I love it. And I’ll take it over soda any day.
I pick up things with my toes too. Even tho my toes aren’t long and skinny. They are short and fat. But I’m lazy and bending over is way too much work.

@MommyGeekology, It’s funny, but you forget that people don’t always know the small details about you. The funny stuff that makes up a person.
I can pick up things with my toes too. It totally grosses people out but I still do it. I also clean my bathroom that way, I think it works just fine.

1. I cannot pick things up with my toes. Not even close.
2. I LOVE apples, but not apple juice unless it’s sparking.
3. I own Christmas dishes, Valentine dishes, Easter dishes… then we take a break until I bust out the Halloween dishes.
4. I do that too sometimes.
5. I like to watch them argue.
7. I’m not an animal person either. Luckily our bunnies can skip a day or two of being fed. I just put a ton of food in there every couple of days.

@AmazingGreis, You just let it sit for ten minutes and then turn the shower on at full heat for ten minutes.
I am great at lazy cleaning.
My trick is doing all sort of stuff with my toes too. My second toe is freakishly long. I also used to be able to flick people off with my middle toe and pinch the bejesus out of peole with my big and second toe. I can do some tricks with my left foot, but righty was my boy. I am telling my physical theripist when I can bruise my husband with a toe pinch again, our work is done. LOL Also, I have snow man dishes and they make me ever so happy.

I have never tried to pinch my husband with my toes. Hmmm.
I have Christmas dishes but they are so cute I can’t bear to use them except to leave out cookies and milk. Then I hand wash them and wrap them back up. My aunt has a full 20-piece set of Christmas dishes that they use every December and have since I was a kid.
Apple juice gives me a headache, but I could drink limeaid all day everyday. When I’m out of it or being lazy, I just eat limes dipped in sugar. Yum!

@Kelly, My grandma had some like that. She never used them. Ha. I got mine at Kohls and every other year, they have them again.

I have Christmas dishes too and I love them. Well, I love 1/2 of them. My mom bought 1/2 and I bought the rest. I love the stuff that I bought. Then, I LOVE Christmas.
