I’ve seen this a lot of places….so I’m going to steal it. (also, i had this sitting and it helps with the non-typing, one handed suck, thing. ps. you still have time to enter my contest below.) Things you may love that I just don’t understand. At all.
Twilight or anything with vampires.
Black licorice. Seriously, you want to eat something that tastes like Nyquil?
Farmville or any of the weird groups people join on Facebook. Things like: When your BS is so legit even you believe; hipsters who hate other hipsters for being hipsters; or my all time favorite: I type things into Google to see if I spelled them correctly. Yes these are real fan groups. I dare you to find me some better ones. Also please don’t tell me I can hide them, because I can’t.
4 square on Twitter. I’m *this close* to unfollowing everyone who uses it.
Winter.
Mushrooms.
People who get up an hour early just to do their hair and make-up. I sleep until the last possible second. I could care less what my hair looks like. I don’t care if you do it, your life, your choice, I just don’t get it.
Most TV shows that people talk about on Twitter. Examples that come to mind are LOST, Real Housewives of anywhere, 16 and pregnant, The Office, Glee and Dancing with the stars.
Fruity bagels and fruity cream cheese. A bagel is not a bagel unless you can put lox on it.
Knitting.
Cheesecake. (Sorry Liz, but I had to say it.)

Knitting is awesome-you probably don’t understand quilting either….LOL. My bio dad says its a hobby in which you take large pieces of fabric, cut them up into little pieces of fabric only to sew them into one large piece of fabric again.
And I like onion and chives on my bagel, altho I have never had one with lox but remember we live in a town with no starbucks, so did you really expect me to have a decent bagel place here?

Ok, I have to be a sucker and admit that I like a few of your hates, but don’t hate me..lol. However, the whole getting up and hour early, so with you on that, at least to do makeup and crap. I am an all natural person lol. (might not want to look lol) But I do have to get up early to get the 2 yr old, 9yr old, hubby and soon to be infant ready…bah-humbug…lol. Hope you are feeling well, and hope the hand gets better asap!

- The Twilight books were amazingly awesome, I refused them for the longest time and then finally gave in. So glad I did.
- I don’t like any licorice.
- I’m an expert Farmer on Farmville, not sure how I got into it, but I did. It’s the ONLY FB game I play other than Bejeweled & Family Feud. Not sure why you can’t hide the updates, I hide updates for all games (Mafia, Cafe World, Fish World, etc) that I don’t care about.
- I could never get into 4Square, it was weird.
- I’ll trade you my 150 degree Summers for winter any day!
- Don’t like mushrooms.
- I do get up early to do my hair, because I have to look presentable at my job. I put my make up on at my desk. On the weekends I’ll take sleep over vanity any day. LOL
- I watch a lot of Twitter “shows”, but I don’t watch American Idol. LOVE Glee.
- I like cream cheese (fruity is good) on my bagels. Never had Lox, and don’t think I ever will.
- I’m not crafty at all, so knitting is so not for me.
- Just saying the word cheesecake has made me drool!!! Chocolate cheesecake is my favorite!

i perfected the bun when i had to work early.
dude lox is soooooo good. was a sunday morning tradition at my house growing up. is a jew thing i think.
idol i watch because the girls adore it. but i fast forward thru a lot of it.

OMGah, I am so with you on so many of those, except Glee. Really? No Glee? Love it, but don’t tweet about it. Confession – I do get up early for hair and make up, but just because I am hiding other stuff behind it.
My biggest pet peeve is fruit in dessert. Why would anyone mess up a good dessert with something healthy?! This was cute and I know so much more about you!

I’m with you on a few of these, although I lurve me some mushrooms—and, well you’ve already tried to stage an intervention on me with my TV issues (although I’m getting better! I don’t watch much anymore!).
But, I do shower, blow dry my hair and put on makeup (and jewelry) every single day, unless I’m sick. I don’t paint my face, but I do put on some almost always. If it took me an hour, I’d never do it, but I can get in/out of the shower, dressed, makeup and hair in 15 minutes, tops. Maybe I’m vain, but I feel better when I have that little bit of pampering to myself in the morning.
And, cheesecake? Don’t get it either. I’d rather eat the calories in just, well, cheese.

@Fairly Odd Mother, mine is the long ass shower. i adore showering. that’s where i take time. but i can dress and be ready in under five minutes.
I looove a good bagel with lox and cream cheese (and sliced tomato and onion as well), but I also really like those blueberry bagels with a sweet cream cheese on them too. I’m Jewish, so bagels were genetically programmed into me as a food preference at conception.

I’m so with you on, like, 98% of these things. Though I love mushrooms. I even worked at a mushroom farm once. True (unfortunate) story.
But I’ve never seen Glee, Lost, or most of those TV shows. I have seen DWTS, but only when someone twitters Kate Gosselin is on so I can see what the fuss is about. And for the record, I’ve never seen an episode of Jon & Kate + 8 or any other weird freak show on TLC. (The Loco Channel as it has now become.)
Also? Can we add Gloria Allred to the list? I just don’t get her. She’s the devil.

Ditto to what other people said about liking a few of your hates. Black licorice, cheesecake, winter and mushrooms. I’m guilty of all of it.
But I also hate it when people join dumb groups on Facebook/become fans of stupid things. There’s a girl on my list that is currently a fan of 558 things. I wish I was kidding. Highlights from the first page include: “sleeping,” “Sleeping!” (Clearly, two separate things) “pizza,” “I re-do high fives if they weren’t good enough the first time,” “sleeping with one leg out of the covers,” “I lose my cell, I call it, its on silent, oh crap.”
I would continue but I think y’all get the point. I want to kick puppies when I see her pop up in my newsfeed.
